I am very excited. Everything is again in the novelty, we start from scratch. Of course, this situation itself was not the most pleasant. After spending nine races last year, it was pleasant to abandon the place in the F-1. However, this time I was able to spend on considering everything that happened last season and learn useful lessons. So yes, I`m glad to return.
Of course, the fact that the return occurred under such circumstances is not too cool when you take the place of another pilot. But you cannot choose the moment when you come to Formula 1. So I will just try to show my maximum and do my work with the team.
And all this time I worked a lot with the team in the background. The team and I worked a lot on the simulator, I helped on the highway. In general, a little helped the team in working on the development of a car in the course of racing weekend ends. And it was great - this work, including a little helped me to study our car, affordable tools, try out different settings options that were unusual for me.
And in general I am very happy. Again, since I spent my last racing weekend, quite a lot of time has passed. So I may have rusted a little bit, but I can quickly fix it.
At the same time, the route is heavy from the point of view of physical exertion. This is not Monza where you have the easiest way. But I`m very happy to return. And glad that this will happen in Italy, ”said Kolapinto.
