Joan Laporta congratulated Lionel Messi after Argentina`s victory at the 2022 World Cup.

Messi deserved it. This is the best player of all time. Historical justice has been done.

We would be happy if Kunde and Dembele won, but I think Messi`s career should have been crowned with a victory at the World Cup. He really wanted to win this trophy.

All of us people who love Leo wanted this for him. We are grateful for what he has given us, ” said the President of Barcelona at the presentation of the film FC Barcelona, una nueva era.
